NBA-Style Training with Kenny Smith

September 2025 - Train like the pros! AEF Coach Antonio Williams recently participated in the Lead Guard Workout x Pangos All-American Camp, an exclusive, invite-only NBA-style workout at McBride High School.

The workout was led by TNT NBA Analyst and former NBA champion Kenny Smith. Kenny Smith won two NBA titles with the Houston Rockets in 1994 and 1995. The camp was also directed by legendary scout Dinos Trigonis, a highly respected veteran coach with a proven record of coaching guards who succeded in college programs and in the NBA. He has coached players including Jrue Holiday, Brandon Jennings, and Baron Davis.

The camp brought together 30 of Southern California’s top high school guards (9th-12th grade) for elite-level skill development. Ballers focused on mastering the lead guard position (point guard and combo-guard) and learned the same system that has produced dozens of NCAA stars and NBA players.

AEF values skill and basketball IQ development, leadership, and high-level competition, so it was an honor for our very own Coach Williams and his son and AEF player J’on Williams to be part of this elite workout.
